Schmendrik FAQ

(frequently asked questions)

Contrary to popular belief, all schmendriks are not simply variants of members of the animal kingdom.
Part of what this web space is about is the academic pursuit of schmendriks that are part of the human
species. People have been in search of these creatures for over 5000 years. As to why this curiosity
first developed among people in the Middle East is still unknown to this day.

Many people do not realize that one of the largest breeding grounds for schmendriks is located in the
United States of America. These grounds are located near the Potomac River, in the Washington, D.C.
area. On a good day, a very patient schmendrik watcher can spot at least two varieties of the creatures.
A rare find is a third species, which tends to be very shy. It will emerge from its' burrow but once every
four years, then only long enough to wiggle it's very large ears (common to the breed). Stunned by the
the large number of schmendrik watchers, it will return to the safety of its' burrow in a flash.
